I like that there is actually enough space for a plant in a pot on the lower basket and that the pot does not have to be tiny to fit it in, which I have discovered to my disappointment with other tiered plant stands. I purchased it for outdoor use, but I like the appearance and am considering using it inside to hold other things - or possibly ordering another! Only reason I knocked one star off is because now that I am thinking I would like to use inside to hold, say, spare towels in the bathroom, it would be nice if it was a little sturdier - in case someone (like my daughter) would attempt to lean on it. As long as no one did that - it would be fine there... It is certainly stable enough for its intended use.

(More customer reviews)This cabinet is really all real wood and it looks great. It is slightly hard to assemble compared with an IKEA type of package. But not too bad. The shoe spaces are small but I took out some of the dividers so regular shoes could fit and it is working great for me. The doors are not perfectly square in the unit but no one notices. Overall I love it and everyone who comes in comments on how nice it looks. And because my three kids have to take off their shoes in the house, it helps so much with shoe storage. I don't think I got 60 pairs in there but it does fit a lot of shoes. For the price it is a great buy.

(More customer reviews)The assembly was not too hard. We had some trouble with the doors, the picture in the instructions was wrong/misleading. Fortunately, the hinges can only go one way and line up with the dimples for the screws. You really do need a drill/power screw driver to put it together. Looks and feels like real wood (i'm pretty sure it is) except for the backing and the grid for the shoes inside.

(More customer reviews)I did not buy this unit from Amazon (or the seller), but rather bought it locally. My first unit lasted about 6 months, and I thought it was great. Then it started to have issues. Temperature would reset itself to whatever it wanted. This was not good, but not the end of the world either.... Then it started to run constantly. I came down one morning to find condensation running off the front door, the temp read 39*F... Needless to say I had to turn it off right away. After 3 service attempts the unit was finally replaced. The replacement was not able to cool (just the cabinet with no wine) to anything cooler than 78* in ambient air temps of 77*...
I would highly recommend staying away from this product. I also found Danby very hard to deal with. The wait time was always over 30-minutes when calling their customer care.

Entryway Organizer Coat Hanger Hall Tree in Espresso Finish Review

(More customer reviews)After seeing something similar during our house search, I searched and searched for some way to organize my 7 & 9 year old's 'stuff' as soon as they walked in the door. There were many other cubbies that I liked for hundreds of dollars more, but I finally settled on these after seeing mostly positive reviews.
I must say that most of what I saw in the reviews was very accurate. Some mentioned that they were slightly smaller than they seem in illustrations and I found that to be true, but it was in some ways a pleasant surprise as they are an adequate size. Although, I could have stood for them to be a little larger, they are certainly big enough for book bags, shoes, coats and other outerwear. And we did not need to relocate other items from the mudroom/laundry room as we had originally planned. It would have been nice to have a little more space for additional shoes, or sporting equipment like some of the more pricey ones, but that was not a deal breaker.
Others also mentioned that it was a bear to put together. My husband concurred. But with that said, he was able to put it together in about a day. A sun up to sun down day, but a day :-).
All in all I am very happy with it as it has achieved the intended purpose which was to have a central place for their school belongings which helps to make mornings a little smoother. I would definitely recommend it for the price.
