As he did not curse or throw anything during the process I assume it was also easy to assemble. The walnut color is on the darker side. It is exactly as it appears in the picture. It is not a top of the line piece of furniture, however, the price suggests it is not. It is sturdy and a nice looking item. A safe item to buy in my opinion.
